PPE No Longer in Top Searches as Virus Restrictions Lift

Promo stalwarts once again dominate the Top 10 list of most-searched items for February “PPE” has been knocked out of the Top 10 search terms for February, as COVID restrictions lift across North America. Traditional promo owned the top spots; the number-one searched for term for the 15th consecutive month was “pens,” while “water bottles,” “mugs” “tote bags” and “lanyards” occupied the same places as the previous month. Conspicuously absent was any PPE, including “KN95,” which rose to number seven in January as the CDC recommended N95 and KN95 masks for the best protection against the omicron variant of the virus. With mandates being eased or lifted (the CDC announced last week that more than 90% of the U.S. population don’t need to wear masks), people are...

The Top 6 Reasons to Open an Office in Houston

We just opened our 2nd location in Houston, Texas officially last month. We’re excited to expand our presence to a location more central to the rest of the United States. Why Houston, you ask? Well there are plenty of reasons, here are our top 6. Sun. Yes, sun. When we visited Houston in January, we saw the sun. It was there, actually UP in the sky, and I could feel its’ warmth on my face. What?! Seattle has 2 sunny days in January. You can not feel the sun, because it’s too far away, but you know it’s there because you briefly catch a glimpse of it riding along the horizon at noon. Joking aside, Houston gets an average of 10 hours of daylight in January, Seattle gets around 8 and a half. If you add in the mist and cloud cover and fog, it actually translates into...

The H

Hillary Clinton made her much-anticipated, much-expected official presidential run announcement this past week.  As is the case with political front-runners and pretty much anyone famous, she got quite the backlash as well.  Twitter, Facebook, and the rest of the social media world were flooded with comments and criticism, and even her supporters were saying WHAT?! to her logo.  The design elements were questionable, criticism was definitely earned, and it left us at Fazzari shaking our heads. To be completely fair to Mrs. Clinton, there are some pretty bad logos out there in the presidential hopeful realm-Ted Cruz’s logo looks like it was pulled off a Natural Gas truck, or pasted from doing a web search for “fire logo” (really, try it…search “fire logo” then...

Celebrating the Big 5

Five is a big number. In numerology it is the number of harmony. I have no idea what the significance of that is, but harmony is definitely a good thing. In human years, five is the first year most children start elementary school; it’s a beginning of sorts. Moving from one stage to the next, growing up. For a small business five is the make it or break it year. According to a study by Inc. Mag and the National Business Incubator Association, 80% of businesses fail within the first five years. That is a daunting statistic! Waiting for the clock to tick down to that five year mark is a wait full of anxiety, stress, fear, and surprisingly fun and excitement. Natural Anti-inflammatory Remedy As Alternative Approach Based on scientific and pharmacological...

Top 5 Branded Products 2014

The last few weeks of a year are a great time for reflection. Counting down toward the beginning of a New Year means finishing up this year’s books, finalizing employee reviews, handing out sales rewards, and hopefully congratulating yourself on a great, productive year full of growth. Ours finds us doing all of those things, as well as taking a look at what our clients asked for most throughout the year. While the list won’t blow you away, it may remind you that sometimes the basics are the best-the things we use the most are often those that make the best promotional item! 5: Uniforms We at Fazzari run several different company stores, as well as running basic orders for uniforms. What pops into your head when I say uniform (likely a polo shirt or a simple...

Resume Rehabilitation

We are always growing, and therefore Fazzari Marketing is nearly always hiring.  We are always looking for good Sales staff, and our support staff occasionally needs a boost as well.  So, inevitably, we tread down the path of resumes thrust our way, looking for the right fit.  While we follow our own advice when searching for the proper candidate, sometimes you have to go the “digging through resumes” route.  As a result of this trudging through resumes, we’ve come up with some friendly advice as to what to send to your would-be employers as you hope to attract their attention positively with your resume. Edit.  This does not need a full explanation we don’t think, as a well-edited resume says, “I cared enough about the position you...
